Homestead High School in Cupertino is looking for a Varsity field hockey coach for the 2009 season. Homestead competes in the Santa Teresa division of the Blossom Valley Athletic League (www.bval.org). Please go to their web site for the full game schedule. Most games are Wednesday/Friday beginning at 3:30 pm. Season begins August 17 and runs through November 6. Practices are every afternoon and are flexible to the coach's schedule. University High School, a small, independent high school located just off the southeast corner of the Presidio in San Francisco, is searching for an Assistant Varsity Field Hockey Coach for the fall season.

The fall season begins August 17th and ends in November. Practices are after school Monday-Friday generally for 2 hours in the 3pm-6pm range. There is little to no weekend activity for Fall teams.

We seek coaches that love their sports and enjoy interacting with and providing educational guidance for high school youth. We challenge each of our teams to have both a seriousness of purpose and also a great capacity to have fun---and obviously seek coaches who fit that mold.

University is a very strong academic school that is usually ranked among the top twenty high schools in the country. The Red Devil athletic program is also strong having been named the top Division 5 program in the state five of the past twelve years.
