University High School, a small, independent high school located in the northern part of San Francisco, seeks an assistant varsity field hockey coach for the Fall season.
The season runs from late August to about November 1st. Practices are after school, generally in the 3pm-6pm range (2 hours per day). Games are during the week. There are two Saturday tournaments, but otherwise weekends are free. Practices are at the school's field located in the Presidio just a short walk from the main school campus.
University is a very strong academic high school usually ranked among the top 20 schools in the country. The athletic program is also strong having been named the strongest Division 5 athletic program in the state 5 times in the past 12 years.
The ability to drive is a requirement for this position.
